Cannulas

We supply sterile Portex irrigating cannulas for tube feeding seahorses.

These are 32mm long, have an outside diameter of 0.76mm and an internal diameter of 0.46mm, and are suitable for tube feeding most medium to large species (including H.reidi, H.kuda, H.barbouri, H.erectus, H.whitei, and H.capensis) with the exception of very long snouted species such as H.histrix.

These are designed to be used with 1ml syringes and are luer fitting, and are rounded at the tip, to minimise the risk of injury to the seahorse.

They are also effective for administering pouch flushes with acetazolamide,  and for pouch evacuations.
